COORDINATOR OF TESTING
UNIVERSITY COUNSELING CENTER
DIVISION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS

 

THE UNIVERSITY COUNSELING CENTER is an IACS accredited agency of the Division of Student Affairs.  This APA-approved training site serves as the primary mental health agency for students on campus and is comprised of four components:  Clinical Services, Training, Outreach and Prevention Programs, and Academic Services.

Colorado State University invites nominations and applications for the position of Coordinator of Testing.  This full-time position is responsible for the coordination of the University Counseling Center’s Testing Services.  Duties include administering national and high stakes testing, including, but not limited to, GED, CLEP, Kryterion, Explorer’s Guide, and NPMA exams; supervising, administering, and coordinating high stakes testing, such as GRE, TOEFL, PRAXIS, and MCAT, offered through Computer Based Testing; coordinating and/or administering Saturday testing on a contractual basis for ACT, ETS, GRE, PRAXIS, LSAT, and others; coordinating, scheduling, and administering national and state examinations; administering and/or proctoring various testing instruments;  interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising Testing Center proctors; supervising staff employed to operate Faculty Test Scoring Service; maintaining testing databases; researching and identifying national and state tests for future administration; recommending contracts with companies when feasible; managing all proctored testing for other colleges and universities; maintaining current testing procedures and training manuals; participating in state, regional and national committees; purchasing supplies; ensuring accurate billing for administration and scoring of tests.  Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in a testing environment
  • Experience administering national and psychological exams

 

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree or higher
  • Experience in the coordination of national & psychological exams
  • Experience with the GED program
  • Experience with computer-base testing, including GRE, PRAXIS, and TOEFL
  • Documented supervisory experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Access databases
  • Experience working with a diverse population

    
COMPENSATION:
$40,000 compensation also includes a paid fringe benefit package.
Saturday work is contractual and paid separately.
