Current Groups - Spring 2008
A variety of groups for students are offered in both time-limited and on-going formats and are often the treatment of choice for many issues. Group Treatment is a unique opportunity to experience a type of therapy that cannot be found in many mental health settings. We offer 3 different group treatment formats:
- Interpersonal Process Groups are for those who will benefit from sharing experiences, giving and receiving support/feedback, and experimenting with new interpersonal behaviors in a safe environment.
- Theme Groups are for those who share common experiences with others, which may enhance a group's cohesion and effectiveness.
- Psychoeducational Groups are for those who want the opportunity to be educated, to increase knowledge of resources, and to build coping skills in certain areas of their lives.
If you are interested in joining a particular group, our administrative staff will schedule an assessment appointment for you to determine which group will best fit your needs.
